Invibio Opens New Facilities to Expand Biomaterials Solutions and Services

Company Expands Operations in United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific to Meet Needs of Growing Customer Base

Thornton Clevelys, U.K. (January 22, 2007) – Invibio® Biomaterial Solutions, a global leading provider of high-performance biomaterials to the medical device market, will expand the U.S. office and open a new Global Technology Center in the spring to meet the growing demand for innovative biomaterials.

The state-of-the-art Global Technology Center in the United Kingdom will accommodate technical and support staff as well as include medically-dedicated processing facilities and testing laboratories. To further enhance quality control procedures and standards, the new facility will also house a Class 10000 clean room, ensuring contaminate-free manufacturing capabilities for research and development grades as well as prototype materials.

The Global Technology Center will enable Invibio to further provide knowledge-based biomaterial solutions and expertise while accelerating research and development efforts for the commercialization of novel biomaterials, such as ENDOLIGN™ composite, PEEK-OPTIMA® compounds and reduced wear biomaterials.

Invibio Expands Operations in United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific
In addition to opening its new Global Technology Center in the United Kingdom, Invibio has also made significant investments in its U.S.- and Asia-Pacific-based commercial and technical resources.

In March, Invibio will open its larger U.S. Headquarters in West Conshohocken, PA. This new facility will house additional customer service representatives and provide commercial support to enable U.S. customers to accelerate from concept to commercialization more quickly.

In 2006 Invibio opened a sales office in Hong Kong to provide dedicated commercial and technical support to the company’s Asia-Pacific-based customers. The Hong Kong sales office has an on-site business development manager to support this rapidly expanding market.
