Collaboration and Innovation
Our culture of collaboration helps us help you in a number of important ways. Robust R&D, technical, and developmental support provide a path to innovation for your advanced medical devices.
Long-term Partnership
Partnership — with medical device manufacturers, research institutions and others in the market — plays a key part in enabling Invibio® to provide biocompatible polymers and value-add solutions that achieve a "total value" package for our customers. Our extensive R&D capabilities are focused on providing innovative, market-leading biomaterials that enable development of advanced medical devices.
Advanced Product Development and Derivatives
We have a history of new biomaterial developments including PEEK-OPTIMA®, MOTIS®, PEEK-CLASSIX®, ENDOLIGN®, and several important derivatives such as image contrast grades, reinforced compounds, and wear resistant grades, among others.
Original Research
Continual involvement and collaboration on original biomaterial research and studies that provide new scientific data to support medical device manufacturers in designing and developing advanced solutions. Studies include cell response to PEEK-OPTIMA; wear properties and implications for load-bearing devices; new forms of long-term implantable polymers to improve device design, performance and clinical results; and other important research.
Invibio Global Technology Center (IGTC)
Our state-of-the-art technology center is a research and development facility designed to foster innovation. Its capabilities, including dedicated Class 10,000 clean room facilities and accelerated prototype turn-around services, are complimented by a team of Invibio experts who understand the needs of healthcare customers — right down to the complexities of working with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory bodies.
