PEEK-CLASSIX Material Properties

Biocompatibility, Strength and Processing for Short-Term Applications

PEEK-CLASSIX, a medical-grade polyetheretherketone, is one of the most chemically resistant USP Class VI certified polymers available. It has the required biocompatibility for short-term tissue contact applications and provides the mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and processing characteristics important to non-implant medical devices and instruments.

Formulated in three different melt viscosities, PEEK-CLASSIX polymer is available in pellet form for injection molding or extrusion — in either aesthetic white or black colors. Stock shapes (rods and plates) are available for machining.
